"Working with Danie has been a great experience. I started training with her over a year ago and she has made fitness as fun as possible for someone who hates to work out. I decided to find a trainer because my weight loss had plateaued and I was getting bored with only using the elliptical and I didn't feel comfortable in the group classes.

"If you aren’t drenched with sweat when you leave the gym then you aren’t doing it right. I found this to be true after my training sessions with Danie. As a trainer that practices what she preaches, Danie knows the discipline it takes to reach personal goals. Each week I looked forward to her smiling face and her unique and challenging exercises. Through Danie pushing me and teaching me proper form, I was able to see results in my body that I was not able to achieve on my own. I learned that by incorporating core strengthening exercises in each work out just how important a strong core is for daily activities as well as overall fitness. In between sets, Danie would utilize the down time to keep my heart rate up with cardio bursts. I particularly liked the fact that her training sessions incorporated very little use of the nautilus machines which lead to exercises that could engage more than one muscle group at a time. "Three months ago I decided it was time to get serious about improving my overall strength to prevent injuries. I knew I did not want to use weight machines because I wanted to be able to exercise at home when I needed. Danie was the perfect trainer to help me. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and motivational. The training routines during our sessions seemed simple enough – lunges, squats, planks, push-ups, etc. – but the variations Danie included kept the sessions challenging and really focused on proper form to prevent injury.
